Sales, Manners, Ethics, Warranties etc.
For those of us in sales, providing estimates and doing research on products that may be new or that we use infrequently,?one can spend hours if you do your research properly! After sending a detailed ?estimate to a homeowner that? you have met with at their home?, taken measurements, researched a different product on their behalf; is it unreasonable to expect a simple “thanks” in response to your email?
Moving along, has ethics in the marketplace? been going downhill for sometime? Companies routinely, it seems, put product information out that is either misleading or patently false. In the same vein, while researching some cedar shingles that had to be painted, the paint warranties had language that left one wondering? if there? really was a warranty, there so many exceptions that would? allow the manufacturer to decline to fix or correct a product. Am I off base on this? Let me know. Thanks
